• • Develop a closer collaboration to enhance the postgraduate studies at Ain Shams University Cairo (ASU) towards a market-oriented education in the water sector;
  • Exchange ideas about industry involvement and development of applied research hubs at the universities, including administrative issues (career guidance centre, research office etc.)
  • Enhance the PGs education in the water sector by developing/remodelling new/existent syllabus/curriculum;
  • Renew and strengthen the practical training by using a market-oriented approach;
  • Modernize the lab infrastructure (specifically the hydraulic engineering lab) with the focus on repair and maintenance being assisted by specialised personnel from the HTWD;
  • Introduce enhanced/automated data monitoring equipment (e.g. data loggers) to acquaint students with the application of state of the art techniques.
