The objective of the dissertation is to assess the hydrogeological and hydrochemical conditions in Vietnam to determine the potential of riverbank filtation (RBF) in the country. The main focus is the analysis of redox process in reducing conditions during RBF especially regarding ammonium and arsenic behavior.
